Frequently Asked Questions

If you are unsure of how occupational therapy may benefit your child, you can schedule an online meeting with our OT. During this 30 minute meeting we will listen to your concerns and provide guidance on what assessment(s) and/or interventions would be beneficial.

This consultation costs €75 and should you wish to proceed with an OT assessment this fee will be discounted from the total cost of assessment.

Please note the purpose of this consult is to determine if OT is needed or not, thus, we will be unable to provide recommendations outside of this.

Please contact us by emailing info@ealaot.ie. We will then send you our booking forms. Your child’s name will be added to our waiting list once we receive these completed forms.

Please provide us with as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please note, that during busy periods there may be a wait time before we can offer you an alternative appointment.

Yes, absolutely! We would establish what functional challenges your child is experiencing and set goals and a plan for OT intervention with you.

Our reports include recommendations for home and school that can be shared with your child’s school.
